We’re currently seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant with at least 6 years’ experience to join the reputable team. This multidiscipline consultancy works in renewable energy projects including hydrogen, wind, BESS and solar, plus infrastructure, housing and aviation projects of varying scale.
The Role – Principal EIA Consultant
- Work on coordinating varied environmental inputs across the sector and be a key figure in growing the newly developed London team.
- Collaborate with internal team-members UK wide, on early strategy development, through to feasibility, outline design, detailed design and discharging of conditions.
- You will have the opportunity to work within various consenting regimes, including Development Consent Orders and Town and Country Planning.
- Be client facing and liaise with sub-consultants, prepare proposals, and author environmental reports and EIA documentation.
Essential Attributes required:
- 6+ years of consulting experience in a relevant role
- Environmental Degree level qualification in EIA, or similar
- EIA processes and relevant UK legislation
- Technical environmental disciplines
- Environmental reports and EIA documentation across different development sectors
- DCO process (not essential)
- Be part of an established and collaborative team
- Coordinate inputs from specialist technical teams whilst working to a deadline
- Confidence when engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups
- Financial control and project management (or exposure to)
- Bid preparation activities
