For Companies We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join our EFW client in Bridgwater.
Position Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Responsibilities
- Managing and directing a team of mechanical, electrical, and C&I technicians to ensure minimum plant downtime and maximum availability.
- Planning and executing plant shutdowns/outages.
- Managing the department\’s maintenance budget.
- Overseeing the management of the maintenance schedule.
- Developing and maintaining records of plant maintenance, including work orders, PPMs, and planned and unplanned outages and inspections.
- Overseeing on-site contractors.
- Deputising for the Plant Manager when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance/engineering in a relevant heavy process industry, ideally power, but industries such as chemical production, aggregate, or similar.
- Practical understanding of boilers, steam, pressure parts, and associated equipment.
- Experience managing a team/department budget.
- Experience in a management or supervisory role.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Must have a background in power, biomass, or EFW industries.
