We are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Design Engineer with extensive experience in Power Electronics to join our project team in Leeds. As a Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems and components. Your expertise in electrical and electronic engineering and knowledge of power topologies will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of projects.
Duties:
- Design and develop electronic systems and components based on project requirements.
- Support staff engineers (including Junior Engineers) with PCB design, layouts, and testing of developed products using a high voltage test rig.
- Focus on finalizing components and integrating designs, with extensive testing and modifications, as the design process is already mature.
- Perform system design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems to ensure functionality and performance.
Skills:
- BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in surface mount technology (SMT) assembly techniques.
