Astute's Power Team is working with a leading Waste Management company in the UK and is recruiting for an Outage Planner to join the Engineering Team at a large Energy from Waste plant.

Responsibilities and duties of the Outage Planner role

  • Planning, executing, and completing scheduled outages across all three production lines, including the steam turbine/generator and shared plant systems.
  • Designing and implementing workflow processes to optimize site resources.
  • Developing comprehensive documentation to support effective project management.
  • Leading the advancement and integration of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Managing and actively contributing to team objectives and collaborative efforts.
  • Upholding and promoting strict safety standards for all site activities.
