The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer - FEA Analysis, to join a well-established leading offshore installation contractor, who specialises in providing engineering and design services for pipelines and large offshore structures that support the Energy sector.

Job Overview: This particular role will be to support a brand new and exciting Offshore Floating Wind Project, and details of this are confidential until you are selected for an interview.

In this position you will be involved in:

  • Performing Structural Analysis tasks by means of modelling in Finite Element Structural Analysis software (ABAQUS / ANSYS).
  • Highly skilled in performing detailed stress analysis of offshore structures using Finite Element Techniques.
  • Having experience in performing Structural Analysis tasks by means of modelling in company standard structural analysis software (SACS, STAAD, and GT-STRUDL).
  • Having experience in performing detailed design calculations in accordance with the company's current requirements and the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC and Norsok).
  • Reviewing, commenting, and approving Structural drawings for steel structures.
