Full UK Working Rights
Working as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) providing safety from the system under client Electrical safety rules, by carrying out isolations, earthing and safety documents. Previous offshore windfarm or 66kV experience essential.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
- SAP duties as required reporting to Lead SAP.
- Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
- Provide isolations and safety documentation for the project.
- Working under client High Voltage safety rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules).
- Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
- Provide personal supervision if required.
- Conduct and review point of work risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step.
- Offshore HUET.
- Knowledge of WTG WTSR.
- Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above.
