A global business and technology transformation partner is looking to hire a MS Power Platform Technical Consultant based in or commutable distance to Newcastle/Blackpool/Manchester. WARNING: for this role, candidates who require company support to legally live and work in the UK cannot be considered. To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. The successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years.
What will you do:
- Identify user needs and build strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions to meet user needs within a delivery team.
- Be a technical specialist, producing high-quality applications, both model-driven and canvas, as well as enterprise-scale Power Automate Cloud Flow solutions.
- Understand governance principles and advise on best practices for empowering Power Platform makers.
- Build solutions as part of an agile team using declarative tools, backed by Microsoft and our technical accelerators.
- Participate in solution design discussions following software engineering best practices.
Your skills and experience:
- Passion and enthusiasm for the Power Platform, its technologies, capabilities, and limitations.
- Hands-on experience with Dataverse and Dataverse for Teams in Power Platform solutions.
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Power Platform solution design and development.
- Focus on delivering positive outcomes for clients of various scales.
- Experience working in an agile, collaborative, commercial environment.
Role is hybrid: 2 days per week at the nearest office for the first 6 months, then fully remote.
