The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Responsible for the sustainable collection of landfill gas and leachate management in compliance with statutory and contractual obligations, company procedures, and industry best practices.
To work with the Site General Manager ensuring they are fully aware of activities being undertaken on site.
To assist in the gas fields by monitoring and balancing the gas collection systems to optimise the gas resource for regulatory and commercial benefit.
Ensure on-site leachate management remains compliant.
Work in compliance with the gas and leachate management plan and site permit.
Undertake monitoring, analysis, record keeping, and reporting on the status of the gas collection systems and utilisation equipment.
Ongoing monitoring and management will include dipping of gas wells, H2S checks across the gas field, and general maintenance of the gas field (e.g., pump replacement, pipework installation, and repairs).
Manage PPM schedules relating to all landfill gas-related assets.
Achieve both gas field and gas compound KPIs that will be agreed upon annually.
Meet the gas targets.
Assist in shutdowns with the support of the leachate/gas Manager.
Participate in and comply with all statutory / Group HSE initiatives.
Work as part of a team or individually to achieve set objectives.
Assist in audits of both the gas compound and related systems.
