Specialising in water treatment, storage, and reuse, they deliver outstanding projects for some of the UK's leading housebuilders, construction companies, industrial firms, and tier 1 engineering contractors.
They seek a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to manage their Southeast region. You must have regional civils experience to be considered.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven, and have a strong background in business development within the construction or engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities in civil engineering, groundworks, street works, and infrastructure sectors.
- Target frameworks and recurring revenue streams building on their company specialisms.
- Create and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for additional work.
- Act as the key contact for high-profile clients and partners, representing the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of the civil engineering and infrastructure markets.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and a robust professional network.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
