Your Responsibilities as a Gas Engineer:

As a vital member of the team, you will:

  1. Provide on-site maintenance and support for a wide range of combustion equipment and plant.
  2. Respond promptly to customer callouts, participating in an on-call rotation.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair combustion, boiler, and process plant machinery.
  4. Install, commission, and service equipment.
  5. Conduct testing and monitoring of plant performance.
  6. Generate regular customer reports and feedback.
  7. Propose upgrades and suggest energy-saving measures.
  8. Foster strong customer relationships.
  9. Contribute valuable feedback on products.
  10. Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  11. Travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications for the Role:

To excel as a Gas Engineer, you will need:

  1. Full UK driving licence.
  2. Gas qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1.
  3. Advantageous skills in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  6. Accuracy in working at speed with a diverse set of responsibilities.
