TXM Recruit are currently looking for X2 Gas Safe Plumbers to work in the Chertsey, Surrey area, primarily in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management company. The role involves working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 8-4 or 9-5, and offers lots of overtime. Applicants must work weekends on a shift rota, approximately 1 in 4, which may vary. Flexibility during the busy season (May to October) regarding hours and days is required. Salary: £40,000 per year, with overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair hot and cold-water services, sanitation, waste disposal, and central heating systems.
- Install, service, and repair gas boilers, cookers, and other appliances.
- Check for gas leaks and ensure proper ventilation.
- Fix and maintain piped services, including drainage.
- Test closed loop heating circuits for correct levels.
- Assist other staff members as required.
- Maintain inventory of plumbing materials.
- Communicate regularly with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Provide cover for colleagues during absences.
- Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.
- Participate in seasonal shift and on-call rota.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
