About The Role

HomeServe is now recruiting for directly employed Gas Engineers to join our team!

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Full Time – You will average 40 hours per week over the year working annualised hours (less in summer, more in winter), but your pay will not change! This also includes working some weekends and Bank Holidays.

Salary: £44,900 + £1,500 signing bonus!

About the role

As a Gas Repair Engineer at HomeServe, you will focus on providing excellent customer service by undertaking maintenance and repair of gas appliances and central heating systems in our customers\’ homes. You will help us enhance our reputation and drive customer growth through industry-leading service.

About The Candidate

What we need from you?

  • CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1 qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Exceptional customer service skills and communication
  • Proactive, can-do attitude
  • Keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills

Training & Support

To help you settle into your role, you\’ll undertake extensive training, starting with a week at our Head Office in Walsall, covering all aspects of HomeServe, health and safety, tools, and equipment. You\’ll then be buddyed with an experienced Gas Engineer. Where appropriate, we will cover your accommodation and meal allowance during induction.
