The Role: We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in the trade to join our dynamic team. Qualifications in LPG, oil, catering, or solid fuel are a plus! We offer and actively encourage ongoing training for those willing to learn and gain further qualifications. Your primary responsibilities will include: Installing, repairing, and maintaining heating systems in properties, including schools, factories, and industrial units. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards. Diagnosing and resolving heating issues efficiently and professionally. Demonstrating pride in your work and maintaining the high standards our company is known for. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a gas environment. Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or higher. Gas Qualifications (Essential): CCN1/DCGS – Core Domestic Gas CENWAT/DCENWAT – Central Heating/Hot Water Boilers, Storage Heaters, and Instantaneous Water Heaters CPA1 – Analysis Gas Qualifications (Not Essential): CKR1 – Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances HTR1 – Domestic Gas Fired Wall Heaters Skills: High levels of customer service, attention to detail, pride in work, experience with other fuels/ASHPs, and familiarity with smartphone/tablet-based scheduling systems (full training provided).
