Our client, a prominent entity in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry Analyst (GC-MS Analyst) to join their UKAS Accredited Air Monitoring Laboratory on a contract basis. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and friendly team, undertaking analytical testing using GC-MS techniques to identify and quantify organic compounds in samples. Key Responsibilities: Conducting analytical testing using GC-MS techniques Identifying and quantifying organic compounds in a variety of samples Handling chemicals, instruments, and equipment with a focus on safety Documenting analytical procedures and results accurately Job Requirements: Experience in analytical chemistry, particularly with GC-MS Knowledge or experience in HPLC and Ion chromatography is advantageous Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field Strong communication skills Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 5.15pm Friday: 8.30am to 4.00pm Free parking available If you are a skilled GC-MS Analyst with a solid background in analytical chemistry and a passion for laboratory work, we would love to hear from you.
