We are seeking a Business Analyst SME in the Power trading space for a commodities & energy trading firm. The role involves covering both physical & derivative trading, supporting ongoing growth, onboarding new products, and adapting to new regulatory changes.
The Business Analyst will work across the project lifecycle, including business requirements analysis, functional specification of changes, testing, and supporting UAT. As a Power Business Analyst, you will leverage your deep knowledge of the European power market, experience with ETRMs, middle- and back-office systems, and processes to ensure the successful delivery of business and technology changes.
Strong BA skills are essential to extract requirements and document them in detail in an Azure DevOps board for developers to elaborate on. In this role, you will also perform testing to verify the functionality of new systems, collaborate with Program Managers and stakeholders to align business needs with project goals, and drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews.
