Electrical Engineer - Utility Scale Solar/PV - Remote/Hybrid
An exciting opportunity has come up for an Electrical Engineer to join an established business that specialises in the design, construction, and maintenance of utility scale Solar/PV projects across Europe.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and planning ground mounted PV systems and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects across the UK. You will collaborate with various teams and designers across the business to ensure planning conditions, customer requirements, and electrical requirements are aligned, and assist with vetting various electrical suppliers.
Essential skills:
Strong electrical background with a degree/diploma in electrical Engineering or similar
Good understanding of all British Electrical regulations, along with UK experience
Experience with utility scale PV projects, ideally 10MW and above
Knowledge of PVsyst and AutoCAD
Ability to work independently with detail-oriented way of working
Excellent communication skills
Ability to be in the office a few days a month
