Responsibilities and duties of the Domestic Electrician role
- Install extractor fans and general electrical components in domestic properties with attention to safety and compliance.
- Carry out wiring for Solar PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps to specification, as required.
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on-site.
- Travel to customer sites across the North East, North West, and Yorkshire.
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Accurately document and report work completed for audit and regulatory compliance.

- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- AM2 Assessment
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- C&G 2391-52 - Initial & Periodic Inspection & Testing
- ECS Gold Card
- Desirable:
- C&G 2399-13/14 or LCL Level 3 in Solar PV Installation
- LCL Level 3 in ASHP Installation (Non-refrigerant)
- WRAS Water Regulations & Part L
- Competent Person Scheme (e.g. NICEIC, NAPIT)
