Commercial Infrastructure Lawyer (Clean Energy) – Senior Associate to Partner Level

Location: Leeds or London with Hybrid Working

A law firm is seeking to expand its Clean Energy team. This opportunity is ideal for a senior lawyer (Senior Associate, Managing Associate, or Partner level) with substantial experience in construction, commercial, or projects law within the clean energy sector. The firm offers a collaborative environment and a strong pipeline of high-profile projects across solar, battery storage, wind, and other renewables.

The Role

The role encompasses a variety of advisory and transactional work, including:

  1. Drafting and negotiating Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) supply agreements with major global manufacturers
  2. Handling Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts and associated project documents
  3. Managing long-term service agreements (LTSAs) and operations and maintenance (O&M) arrangements
  4. Advising on warranty packages for major clean energy components
  5. Providing counsel on acquisitions, disposals, and project development within the clean energy space
  6. Collaborating with colleagues across various legal disciplines, including real estate, corporate, finance, and environment
