Role Overview

Position: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Central & Greater London (within M25)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time (8am-5pm)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000/year

Call-Out Rota: 1 in 7 weeks (24/7/365 service)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service commercial and domestic gas systems.
  • Troubleshoot heating, hot/cold water systems.
  • Handle faults involving pumps, BMS, expansion vessels, and valves.
  • Provide support across trades where needed.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of commercial/domestic appliances and heating systems.
  • Excellent fault-finding ability.
  • Commercial gas qualifications (TPCP1 & TPCP1A minimum).
  • Gas Safe registration.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Confident using a tablet or PDA.

Desirable:

  • Oil qualifications (salary enhancement offered).
  • Knowledge of electrical controls and fixed systems.
  • Experience with BMS and pressure systems.
