Transmission & Distribution
Our team’s focus is ensuring energy remains accessible to all and that energy networks can operate efficiently. As the UK pushes towards Net Zero, there is a rapid expansion required of these existing networks and infrastructure, along with ensuring their integrity to meet these ambitious targets. Join this team and you’ll work on large-scale investment plans to ensure the networks have the capacity to meet these demands, focusing on the integration of clean energy sources, ensuring the resilience of the existing network, and the exportation of renewable sources between countries through subsea HVDC connections.
Candidate Specification
To join us for an industrial trainee placement, you must currently be at university or seeking a pre-university placement. You’ll be working with graduates, experienced professionals, and other students. This placement is a great opportunity to learn from a variety of people while understanding our values and culture. It also provides a chance to get involved with real projects and gain relevant experience. Our placements do not have a formal structure, allowing you to make the role your own. The more involved you are and the more questions you ask, the more you will gain from this experience.
