AT&T Rentals, based in Mallusk, are recruiting a Full Time Trailer Fitter. We are one of Ireland’s largest Commercial Rental Companies running a modern fleet of both Trucks and Trailers. The candidate for this role should be an experienced HGV Trailer Fitter with a good knowledge of various types of trailers. Working in a growing business within a larger team of skilled fitters, the successful candidate will benefit from a generous starting salary and other staff benefits.
Typical Duties of a Trailer Fitter include, but are not limited to:
- Performing general servicing and inspections on a variety of trailers
- Preparing trailers for PSV Testing
- Carrying Out Brake Testing on all Trailers
- Ensuring all repairs are carried out according to the garage procedures
- Adhering to all Company Health & Safety criteria
- Liaising with the team on work progress and any problems or delays that may occur
- Ensuring relevant paperwork is completed
Attributes we are looking for:
- Proven Mechanical/ Technical Experience in trailer repair and maintenance
- Strong Knowledge of HGV trailers
- Professional approach to work
- Consistent high standard of work
- Full Clean driving Licence
- HGV Licence desirable but not essential
