Role Purpose:
Our Southport Office is looking for a reliable receptionist to become an integral part of our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career while serving the community.
About You:
- At least two years of experience in a professional, legal, justice, or community services environment, with a Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients is highly valued.
- Demonstrates resilience, organisation, and energy in work.
- Prepared to provide at least two professional references.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage switchboard and reception area; maintain a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.
- Lodge Legal Aid applications online; complete legal correspondence; oversee filing and mail management.
- Engage in frequent liaison with teams across Queensland to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Opportunity for career progression in Administration or Court Support; potential to pursue further studies relevant to Administration, Finance, or Law.
