Engineering Expert - Lab Environments & Technology Portfolio (m/w/d) in Münster, Karlsruhe, München (Aschheim), Berlin bzw. Frankfurt am Main. Voll- oder Teilzeit ab 30 Wochenstunden. Die Tätigkeit gehört zum Squad SAD. Zusammenarbeit mit 3 Kolleg*innen standortübergreifend und mit vielfältigen Schnittstellen.

Aufgaben mit Perspektiven

  • Aufbau moderner Lab- und Experimentierumgebungen inkl. Infrastruktur-Provisionierung, Netzwerkanbindung, Security-/Compliance-Konfiguration sowie Integration in bestehende Cloud- und Plattformlandschaften.
  • Entwicklung und Betrieb von System-Plattformen im Public-Cloud-Umfeld, um neue Technologien schnell, sicher und skalierbar testen zu können.
  • Enge Evaluation mit Architektur und Kolleg*innen im Rahmen des Technologieportfolio-Managements – inklusive Strukturierung eines Tech Radars, Lifecycle-Bewertung und Ableitung technischer Empfehlungen.
  • Entwicklung von PoCs, Validierung neuer Tools/Frameworks (z. B. Kubernetes-Ă–kosystem, AI-Frameworks, DevOps-Tooling) und Sicherstellung deren Integration in bestehende Entwicklungs- und Plattformumgebungen.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Architektur- und Engineering-Teams zur PrĂĽfung von Technologien hinsichtlich Architektur, Sicherheit, Betrieb, Skalierbarkeit und regulatorischer Vorgaben.
  • Etablierung von Standards, Patterns und Best Practices, die den unternehmensweiten Einsatz neuer Technologien steuern – vom Laborexperiment bis zur produktionsreifen Lösung.
  • UnterstĂĽtzung von Teams bei der EinfĂĽhrung neuer Technologien durch Workshops, Dokumentationen, Templates und praxisnahe Leitfäden fĂĽr nachhaltige Nutzung.

Persönlichkeit mit Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Data Science oder Mathematik bzw. vergleichbare Qualifikation + langjährige einschlägige Berufserfahrung.
  • Tiefes technisches Verständnis in Analyse, Bewertung und Integration moderner Technologien (z. B. AI/ML-Frameworks, DevOps-Tooling, Cloud-Services, Container-Stack).
  • Erfahrung in Architektur- und Technologieentscheidungen (Evaluierung, Security-Bewertung, Lifecycle-Management, Compliance).
  • Hohe technische Umsetzungskompetenz in Cloud- oder Container-Umgebungen (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, IaC).
  • Freude an Engineering-Arbeit von Research ĂĽber PoC-Implementierung bis zur Integration in produktive Plattformen sowie Fähigkeit zur strukturierten Dokumentation, Moderation und Kommunikation technischer Entscheidungen.
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse (mind. C1) und Englischkenntnisse (mind. C1).
  • Interesse daran, Technologieentwicklung aktiv zu steuern, Standards aufzubauen und Engineering-Teams zu befähigen.
