Job Summary

Obtain blood and other non-blood specimens from patients, deliver samples to the laboratory, and provide accurate information about laboratory tests according to standard procedures. Responsibilities may vary based on site needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or recognized equivalent. Evaluation required for non-U.S. diplomas.
• CPR and Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification preferred.
• Graduation from a Phlebotomy technical training program strongly preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly preferred.

Experience & Skills

• Up to 1 year of medical practice experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation required.
• Proficiency with Lab Information Systems (LIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.

Location: Plymouth, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm, rotating weekends and holidays
