Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
  • CEU documentation required for certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

Experience

  • Two to three years of experience in adult echo and stress/echo preferred.
  • Able to independently perform tests.

Skills

  • Good interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
