Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
- CEU documentation required for certification.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
Experience
- Two to three years of experience in adult echo and stress/echo preferred.
- Able to independently perform tests.
Skills
- Good interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
