This is a strategically important role so we are looking for someone who has experience in resilience disciplines, including business continuity, disaster recovery, incident management, cyber resilience, third-party risk, and operational risk.
Description
- Lead and strengthen Atrium’s operational resilience framework by identifying, assessing, testing, and mitigating risks across the organisation.
- The role brings together third-party risk management, business continuity planning, incident management, IT and cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and AI-related initiatives into a coordinated function, while owning and incorporating the Business Impact Assessment.
- The role is responsible for enhancing Atrium’s preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities through effective scenario testing, robust incident management, and strong governance.
- Coordinate and unify all Operational Resilience workstreams across Atrium, ensuring alignment between business continuity, disaster recovery, incident management, cyber resilience, outsourcing / third-party oversight, facilities, and operational risk.
- Conducting annual oversight of Atrium’s Business Impact Analysis (BIA), culminating in the creation of process/service Playbook.
- Oversee the identification and mapping of Important Business Services, including the people, processes, technology, facilities, data, and third parties that support them.
- Help maintain the Operational Resilience framework and supporting documentation, ensuring it remains current, practical, and aligned to regulatory expectations and internal governance requirements.
- Plan, organise, and coordinate scenario testing activities end-to-end, including defining objectives, engaging stakeholders, scheduling exercises, documenting outcomes, and tracking remediation actions.
- Work with business and functional leads to challenge and assess vulnerabilities across resilience streams, helping to identify gaps, interdependencies, single points of failure, and opportunities to strengthen controls.
- Develop a clear understanding of governance structures across all resilience-related disciplines, ensuring committees, forums, escalation routes, roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines are defined and connected.
- Manage the Operational Resilience Group and support and coordinate resilience governance forums, preparing papers, reports, dashboards, and updates for management committees, senior leadership, and Board-level review where required.
- Track, monitor, and report on resilience actions and improvement plans, ensuring lessons learned from incidents, tests, audits, and reviews are captured and translated into measurable enhancements.
- Promote consistent resilience practices across the organisation, acting as a central point of coordination and helping teams embed resilience considerations into day-to-day operations, playbook management, change activity, and third-party management.
- Assisting Head of Procurement / Ops Res Lead with Resilience focused initiatives.
