Atrium are looking for a dynamic, creative individual with a passion for learning, who fits the Atrium ‘One Team’ Spirit which is at the heart of everything we do. With roots steeped in design and architecture, our focus is on creating an inspirational experience for our colleagues and customers. This role is a development role handling all enquiries outside of the Customer Relationship Managers’ designated A-B-C accounts list from enquiry, and quotation through to order. For the 1st year, at least you will be initially internally based, as this will allow you to get a firm understanding of the sales process and to develop an understanding of negotiating & closing orders. Through this period it is expected you will develop relationships and sales strategies with a view to define your own set of A-B-C accounts (specifiers) with the role evolving into a Customer Relationship Manager role. You will work closely with these accounts to become a trusted adviser and the first choice for their lighting design needs. Once an opportunity is identified, you will qualify it and then provide a comprehensive lighting solution, identifying technical requirements and configuring product to develop a quote. You will then follow that quote through to close the sale and generate an order. As the key contact person, you will be the ‘first responder’ to any post-sales issues, you will work closely with the Project Care Team to determine the most likely means of resolution and act quickly to ensure a satisfied client. To assist you in the process you will enjoy the full support of a highly qualified technical team including design, supply chain and on-site support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Build relationships to become a trusted advisor by showing unmatched technical and product knowledge
  • Participate in networking opportunities including international trade shows if requested
  • Educate your accounts by using pre-developed Continuous Professional Development seminars (CPDs)
  • Support your accounts by writing specifications when the situation warrants
  • In collaboration with the Design Team, accurately configure and quote best-in-class lighting solutions
  • Showcase superior technical and product knowledge with exceptional service to avoid ‘price only’ discussions
  • Working with the Project Care Team, act quickly with knowledge and authority to solve site performance issues
  • Meet and exceed performance targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Consistency

  • Manage and report Territory project pipeline
  • Follow projects through to completion using multiple sources of information including public records, press releases and specialist databases
  • Create and maintain a Territory Business Plan
  • Maintain and report from appropriate data within Atrium systems
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings
  • Manage and maintain your own samples
  • Manage your own expense budget
  • Following factory trips train relevant teams on all new products and technological developments
  • Continually grow and develop your technical and product knowledge

What We Offer

  • 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Dedicated wellbeing leave
  • Private medical insurance
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Enhanced parental leave benefits
  • Access to Perkbox discounts and rewards

Along with a range of additional benefits designed to support your wellbeing, development and work-life balance. If interested, please email Preena Devshi with your CV at.
