We have an exciting new role within our Change team for a QA Tester to govern and align change initiatives with the business requirements.

To define proportionate testing standards and deliver quality assurance throughout the change lifecyle.

The successful candidate will define proportionate testing standards, processes, tools and ways of working, embed quality throughout the change lifecycle, and create a strong foundation that can evolve as the function grows.

They will design, execute and manage testing across business process and system changes, including user acceptance testing, and collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers and operational teams to support the delivery of effective and compliant solutions.

Help define and implement the Business Change testing framework, including standards, templates, governance and ways of working.

Assess test environment readiness and coordinate access, test data and dependencies before execution begins.

Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Identify, log, and track defects, working with project teams to ensure resolution.

Provide input on quality risks, testing progress, and release readiness within projects.

Support audit and assurance activity by retaining appropriate testing evidence and demonstrating traceability.

Test data preparation and management.

Knowledge of testing approaches such as functional, integration, regression, and UAT.

Familiarity with testing both system functionality and business processes.

Non-functional testing awareness, including accessibility, usability, performance, security and operational resilience.

Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar).

Basic SQL, API-testing or data-query skills
