Atrium Global is partnering with a leading client in the financial services sector to secure an experienced OpenShift/zLinux Engineer to join a specialist Mainframe Services team within a Core Infrastructure Platform environment.
Job Overview: The OpenShift/zLinux Engineer will provide specialist technical capability to support, engineer and enhance the z/Linux estate within a core enterprise infrastructure platform. This role sits within a Mainframe Services function and focuses on maintaining and improving a highly available, secure and compliant Linux platform running on IBM Z. The environment includes OpenShift on IBM Z (OCPz), z/VM and enterprise Linux systems. You will operate within a team of platform engineers, supporting both BAU and change activity across development, test and production environments, contributing to platform stability, resilience and continuous improvement.
