Overview
Atrium EMEA are supporting a large managed service provider, looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to deliver and support upgrade, patching, and remediation activities across Oracle Database, Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) 12.2.x, and Oracle SOA Suite environments. The role covers both production and non-production systems within secure, governed environments.
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-business Suite 12.2.8 upgrades/remediation
- Strong Oracle DBA experience (19c) - patching, upgrades, TDE, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard
- Experience with Oracle ASM
- End-to-end upgrade delivery across non-prod and prod environments
- Strong experience in patching, cloning, migration, and environment refresh
- Linux/Unix administration experience
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting (DB & Middleware)
- RMAN backup & recovery
- Experience raising and managing Oracle Support SRs
- Ability to work in secure, controlled environments with strict governance
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver upgrades across Oracle Database, EBS, and SOA Suite
- Perform database patching and upgrades
- Support and upgrade Oracle E-business Suite 12.2.x
- Administer and upgrade Oracle SOA Suite and WebLogic (WLS)
- Manage Oracle ASM and Grid Infrastructure
- Execute cloning, migration, and refresh activities
- Coordinate with Oracle Support and internal delivery teams
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
- Adhere to change, release, and security governance standards
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AWS HA/backup architectures
- Experience with Oracle WLS, SOA Suite, or Oracle IDCS/EBS Asserter
- Familiarity with ITIL processes
