Job Description \n Contract Role - Middle Office Analyst/Middle Office SME - Manchester/Hybrid - 12 months initial - Inside IR35 \n Role Overview: \n * Job Title: Middle Office Analyst/Middle Office SME \n * Location: Manchester/Hybrid (4 days onsite per week) \n * Contract Type: Contract \n * Duration: 12 months initial \n * Rate: PAYE (inclusive of holiday): £212 per day Inside IR35 \n * Responsible for overseeing quality control of processing, work allocation and workflow of a Middle Office team and outsourced functions in accordance with SLD. \n * Reviews and approves work conducted by more junior levels in accordance with function policies and procedures. \n * Performs analysis and research on the most complex transactions and identifies solutions to complex inquiries. \n * Responsible for or facilitating the maintenance of trade static data, trade enrichment, and trade exception handling and market claims. \n * Responsible for the most complex reconciliations analysis (cash, asset, trade matching, and market value), break assignment, resolution of reconciliation breaks, and trade fails. \n * May also participate in monthly end-client statement workflow, ad hoc reporting, and incident management. \n * Identifies resolves and escalates any issues that affect the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) within the team. \n * Exercises own judgement and collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliations of accounts for complex or atypical transactions. \n * Provides guidance to less experienced Middle Office staff as needed. \n * Bachelors degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. \n Please feel free to contact myself - Daisy Nguyen at Atrium UK for a confidential chat to know more details about the role. \
