Job Description
Contract Role – AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant – London/Hybrid – 3 Months Initial – Inside IR35 PAYE
We are seeking an experienced AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant with 2+ years of experience prototyping and testing AI agents and/or LLM models.
Role Overview:
- Job Title: AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant
- Location: London/Hybrid
- Contract Type: Contract
- Duration: 3 months initially, extension likely
Responsibilities:
- Create test prompts for AI agent. Experiment with different prompt formulations to steer AI Agent towards ideal behavior.
- Implement and debug AI agent tool calls in a python / PHP SW stack.
- Assemble high quality prompts to create company internal benchmarks for AI agents similar to MLEBench and BFCL.
Qualifications:
- Research or prototyping experience in machine learning, deep learning, and/or natural language processing.
- Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as Model Context Protocol. LangChain.
- Exposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applications.
Preferred:
- Direct experience in generative AI and LLM research.
