We are working with a specialist company based in Cambridge, specialising in renewable heating and cooling technologies. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Junior Estimator to join our team on an entry-level basis. This role is ideal for someone who has recently left school or college and is looking to start a long-term career in the Energy Transition and renewable technology sector. Full training will be provided, with clear career progression opportunities within the business.
Your role:
- Assisting with cost estimates for renewable heating and cooling projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical information
- Supporting senior estimators with pricing and quotations
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Learning industry standards, systems, and software
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
- Recently left school or college, or looking for an entry-level office role
- Strong interest in renewable energy, engineering, or sustainability
- Good numeracy, IT, and organisational skills
- Willing to learn and develop within a technical environment
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Able to commute to our office-based location near Barrington / Cambridge
