CAD Draughtsman – We are looking for a CAD Draughtsman who is able to create detailed drawings and plans for the installation of cladding systems on buildings.
You will be working for a market leader in the design, manufacture, and construction industry. Clients include major oil companies, commercial developments, and independent forecourt owners.
Your role:
·Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for cladding systems, including elevations, sections, and details.
·Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure cladding designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements.
·Detail the types of cladding materials (e.g., aluminium, composite panels, stone, glass) and their installation methods.
·Interpret site measurements and incorporate them into design drawings.
·Ensure drawings comply with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
·Update drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, or site conditions.
Requirements:
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
·Understanding of building envelopes, facade systems, and construction techniques.
·Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
·Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
·Good communication for liaising with various stakeholders.
