Job Description
Senior Administrative Assistant – Investment Banking
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension/conversion to permanent position)
Location: London, UK
Working hours: Full-time
Onsite requirements: Initially full-time in the office; moving to 1 day working from home once training is complete
Engagement Type: Contract (via PAYE or Umbrella)
Hourly Rate: Up to £30 per hour (DoE)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comprehensive diary management, including scheduling internal and external meetings.
- Coordinating complex UK and international business travel.
- Arranging conference and video calls across multiple time zones.
- Submitting expenses using Concur in line with company policy.
- Building knowledge of senior leadership team priorities, clients, and workflows.
- Establishing effective communication with internal stakeholders and external contacts.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Managing inboxes on behalf of senior leaders, prioritising and responding where appropriate.
- Handling professional responses to telephone calls and queries.
- Planning and supporting team offsites and internal events.
- Providing cover for other administrative team members during periods of leave or high workload.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience providing administrative support to senior leaders and multiple bankers within an investment banking environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Confidence when interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure.
- Professional, reliable, and polished approach.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
