This opportunity is for a client of Atrium Global operating within the financial services sector. The client is expanding a well-established Manchester based product team supporting a large scale enterprise onboarding platform.
Job Overview
We are seeking two senior Product Owners to join a growing enterprise onboarding platform team. These roles have been created following recent attrition and a need to strengthen the team with experienced, senior level product professionals who can operate effectively within a complex financial services environment. The successful candidates will take ownership of complex product areas, working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across multiple lines of business to drive high quality delivery and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead product development and strategy for large and complex product areas within an enterprise onboarding platform
- Own and drive product roadmaps aligned to organisational goals and business strategy
- Translate complex business problems into clear, actionable solutions for engineering teams
- Work closely with engineering teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery to validation at build completion
- Manage and prioritise product backlogs using Jira
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across custody, trust, funds, settlements and related business lines
- Support product launch and go to market activities
- Contribute to budgeting and resource planning for product initiatives
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure effective, iterative delivery
- Act as a subject matter expert in client onboarding and account opening domains
REQUIREMENTS
- 5–7 years’ experience in Product Ownership or Product Management roles
- Proven experience delivering complex products within financial services
- Strong domain knowledge in client onboarding and account opening
- Experience working with datasets and data collection for client onboarding
- Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum and iterative product development
- Hands on experience using Jira
- Ability to validate requirements at the start and end of builds
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated track record of defining product strategy and delivering successful product roadmaps

- Experience within KYC or financial crime domains
- Exposure to multiple investment banking areas
