Contract Role – European Retail Display PM/Project Manager – London/Remote – 12 Months Initial – Inside IR35 PAYE
We are looking for a Project Manager to support the planning, design, production sell-in, coordination and implementation of Retail Display programmes across the UK and Europe. The role acts as a lynch-pin joining up internal cross-functional partners with support agencies and retailers.
With a focus on UK and broader European support initially, the potential for growth is huge. The Labs is introducing new technology and creating new categories.
Role Overview:
- Location: London/Remote
- Contract Type: Contract
- Duration: 12 months initially
- Seat in Physical merchandising team.
- Work with design development production, logistics, delivery and maintenance for 3rd party displays across Europe.
- Understand design projects and creative and production works – work with designers and agencies.
- Agency experience managing budget and focus would be valuable.
- Work with all major retailers who sell electrical goods across Europe.
- Someone who has come from retail projects would be ideal.
- Need project management skills in an unstructured way – navigating complexity and disorganization.
- Working hours: 9-6pm Mon – Fri – potential for some evening calls with the US.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with delivery of design, campaign, physical and technical elements of retail experience and long-term furniture programmes.
- Support campaign-oriented temporary pop-up design production activities that will evolve and scale over the next few years.
- Maintain project documents to ensure strong project discipline driving on-time delivery.
- Act as a liaison between global fixture vendor partners, graphic companies, Channel Marketing managers, Creative and Marketing cross-functional partners on any asset-related issues that arise.
- Utilize internal tools to manage payment activity. Prepare and manage spend tracking documents.
- Responsible for generating and tracking POs through internal tools.
- Work on internal process development to drive efficiencies across a broad scope of programme-related activity.
- Organize vendor partner conference calls weekly to track and update progress ensuring all deadline dates are on track.
- Be willing to step in, learn and pick-up tasks for the broader team.
Skills:
- 3+ years of relevant retail physical project management experience within large organizations in a related field.
- Must have strong experience working with retail partners.
- Experience of creating and maintaining project trackers across multiple programs and stakeholders.
- Clear understanding and experience of working on retail fixture production and implementation.
- Understand how to utilize and create Excel, PPT and Word docs (proficiency with Google docs/sheets a plus).
- Excellent communicator, superb verbal and written communication.
- Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail, able to detect inconsistencies and errors.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Highly effective at managing conflict. Able to address issues between stakeholders swiftly to maintain a positive team spirit consistent with company values.
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, flexible and positive.
- Experience with navigating various organizational environments where culture and structure varies.
