We are seeking an experienced Slinger to join the team on the Hornsea 3 onshore substation project in Norwich. This is an immediate start position working on a busy, high profile energy infrastructure site with an established civils and lifting team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out safe slinging and signalling operations for crane and lifting activities
- Work closely with the lifting team, crane operators, and supervisors
- Follow all on site health & safety procedures, especially within an HV/substation environment
- Support general site operations as required
- Maintain clear communication during all lifting tasks
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket
- Experience working on civils or infrastructure projects (substation experience beneficial but not essential)
- Strong understanding of safe lifting practices
- Full PPE
- Good communication skills and reliable work ethic
