We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor to join a leading contractor on a long-term project in the outskirts of Norwich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical supervision within commercial or industrial construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise day-to-day M&E site activities to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to high standards.
·Coordinate and manage subcontractors and direct labour across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
·Ensure all work complies with current health & safety legislation and company policies.
·Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of works on site.
·Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure smooth communication and progress.
·Manage and track progress against the programme and assist in resolving any issues or delays.
·Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
·Assist in commissioning and handover processes.
Requirements:
·Proven experience as an M&E Supervisor on commercial or industrial projects.
·Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems and services.
·SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
·Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred).
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team.
