We are seeking reliable and experienced M&E Clerk of Works / Quality Managers for a long-term contract role. The position is site-based and focused on overseeing mechanical and electrical installations to ensure quality, compliance, and smooth handovers.
Employment Type: Contract (Long-Term) – Self-Employed
Rate: Up to £300 per day (self-employed)
Key Responsibilities:
·Conduct daily inspections of M&E installations.
·Organise and lead site walkdowns with clients to support handover documentation.
·Ensure accurate record-keeping and document control.
·Upload and manage all project documentation via the site\’s shared digital platform.
·Collaborate closely with clients, site teams, and contractors.
Requirements:
·Demonstrable experience in a similar Clerk of Works or M&E Quality Manager role.
·Strong organisational and communication skills.
·Competent with email, document control, and online platforms.
·Comfortable working independently on a busy, active site.
Desirable:
·Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications.
·CSCS card or equivalent certification.
