Overview
Quantity Surveyor – We are working with a leading specialist in modern methods of construction, delivering high-quality, precision-engineered light gauge steel solutions across the UK. With over a decade of MMC expertise and a strong pipeline of residential and multi-storey projects, they are expanding the commercial team and seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support with continued growth.
Your role
- Manage project costs, forecasts, budgets, and valuations
- Prepare bills of quantities, tender documentation, and procurement schedules
- Conduct site measurements and valuations for off-site and on-site works
- Assess subcontractor packages, negotiate terms, and manage performance
- Monitor project variations, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare monthly cost reports and contribute to project review meetings
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and MMC processes
- Support continuous improvement across commercial operations
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
- 5+ years\\\’ experience in a QS role, commercial & residential desirable
- Excellent commercial awareness and cost control skills
- Able to negotiate, communicate with clients, and record reports
- Ability to work collaboratively across design, manufacturing, and site teams
- Ambitious, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality work
Offer
- Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)
