We are working with a specialist contractor delivering low-carbon heating and cooling solutions across the UK. The business focuses on the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems, including:

  • Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP)
  • Water Source Heat Pumps (WSHP)
  • Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects across commercial, industrial, agricultural, public sector, and residential sectors, they are now seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically interesting projects within a fast-growing renewable energy sector.

As an M&E Engineer, you will support the delivery of projects across mechanical and electrical aspects of renewable systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the design, installation, and commissioning of heat pump systems
  • Working alongside project managers and design teams to deliver projects effectively
  • Overseeing site activities and ensuring work meets technical specifications
  • Assisting with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Ensuring compliance with HSEQ and industry standards
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Supporting maintenance and optimisation of installed systems

About You:

  • Experience as an M&E Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer within construction or building services
  • Exposure to HVAC, heat pumps, or renewable energy systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of installation and commissioning processes
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills
  • Ability to work both on-site and within project teams
  • Full UK driving licence
