We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Temporary Healthcare Assistants to support our clients in York to deliver exceptional care to their residents.\\n\\nJob Summary \\nAs a Temporary Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team within care homes. You will assist residents with daily activities and personal care, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting a nurturing environment.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nAssist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.\\nMonitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.\\nProvide emotional support and companionship to residents.\\nHelp residents with mobility and encourage participation in activities.\\nAssist with medication administration under supervision, when required.\\nMaintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.\\nDocument care provided and report observations to senior staff.\\nFollow all health and safety guidelines and best practices.\\n\\nQualifications\\n\\nPrevious experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a care giving role is preferred (minimum of six months).\\nMoving and Handling, First Aid and Basic Life Support training (Certificate required).\\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\\nAbility to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays.\\nCompassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of residents.\\nReliable and capable of following instructions and procedures.\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nCompetitive hourly rates and flexible scheduling to fit your availability.\\nWeekly Pay.\\nFriendly on call team, 24/7.\\nAccess to all permanent vacancies.\\nOpportunity to gain experience in various care home settings.\\nOngoing training and support from our dedicated team.\\nA chance to make a positive impact in the lives of residents.\\n\\nAs an agency staff member, you will have the flexibility with working hours whilst also benefiting from competitive rates of pay and opportunities for ongoing training.
