The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and inspiring Retail Store Manager to lead our Watford store. As Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and creating a high-performing team culture. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring operational excellence while motivating your team to achieve and exceed targets. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Drive commercial performance through effective sales strategies and proactive leadership.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and inventory management.
- Recruit, train and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and performance support.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement action plans to improve results and recognise success.
- Complete all store administration, including rotas, payroll reporting and compliance documentation.
- Monitor sales performance, identify trends and opportunities, and implement initiatives to maximise revenue.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to execute promotional campaigns, marketing activity and visual merchandising plans.
About You
You will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a retail management or leadership position.
- A proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- A passion for luxury retail, fragrance and customer experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods when required.
