The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven

Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our Watford store.

As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager, leading the team by example, driving sales performance, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional in-store experience.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires strong commercial awareness, team management skills and a passion for delivering result.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in delivering store targets and company objectives.
  • Help develop local initiatives and action plans to improve store performance.
  • Train, coach and motivate a team of sales consultants to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Support the resolution of customer queries and complaints.
  • Ensure products are merchandised and presented in line with company guidelines.
  • Promote the store and brand within the local community.
  • Ensure products are correctly priced, coded and supported with accurate POS materials.
  • Continually develop product knowledge and leadership skills.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience working with KPIs, sales targets and commercial objectives.
  • Understanding of visual merchandising and its impact on performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required.
