Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of driving experience with vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Commercial driver’s license required
- Ability to operate various vehicles including buses, limousines, and cars, and handle minor repairs
- Knowledge of local streets within an 8-mile radius
- Ability to drive company or personal vehicles as required
- Compliance with Atria’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy
Job Responsibilities
- Provide safe, courteous transportation for residents
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking vehicles
- Secure wheelchairs and practice safe driving techniques
- Maintain and service vehicles, report repairs
- Deliver items to residents’ apartments
- Support activities and programs as needed
- Ensure travel expenses are properly documented
- Maintain a safe driving record and handle emergency situations
- Report unsafe conditions and perform other duties as assigned
