Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of driving experience with vehicle maintenance knowledge
  • Commercial driver’s license required
  • Ability to operate various vehicles including buses, limousines, and cars, and handle minor repairs
  • Knowledge of local streets within an 8-mile radius
  • Ability to drive company or personal vehicles as required
  • Compliance with Atria’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, courteous transportation for residents
  • Assist residents with boarding and disembarking vehicles
  • Secure wheelchairs and practice safe driving techniques
  • Maintain and service vehicles, report repairs
  • Deliver items to residents’ apartments
  • Support activities and programs as needed
  • Ensure travel expenses are properly documented
  • Maintain a safe driving record and handle emergency situations
  • Report unsafe conditions and perform other duties as assigned
