As part of the IT Services (ITS) Unit, the Demand & Portfolio Management (DPM) team manages and prioritises change demands and projects across the Atradius business and IT portfolio. The DPM team engages with business and ITS stakeholders to capture new ideas and opportunities and develop them into demands and projects with objectives aligned to IT and business strategies. The team supports, evaluates and reports on delivery of demands and projects to ensure relevance and governance in accordance with Atradius ITS portfolio and project policy. The DPM team also provides guidance on allocating ITS resources to support delivery across the portfolio.
Job Title: Demand Co-Ordinator
Role purpose: You will be a key resource in coordinating and maintaining portfolio governance across the Portfolio and supporting the Demand Managers with the development of demands and associated projects.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Demand Managers to support the build and development of ideas into clear demands, including:
- Assisting in creating the business case template and content, including business requirements, objectives, risks and benefits associated with the demand.
- Creating cost plans required to deliver the demand and its impact on operational budgets.
- Creating resource demands required to deliver the demands and projects.
- Co-ordinating the review feedback and approval process for the delivery of the demands.
- Collaborate with Resource Managers and Project Delivery teams to manage overall resource capacity and planning for ITS resources.
- Coordinate with Finance and Project Delivery teams to support tracking and validation of project delivery and expenditure.
- Prepare executive portfolio management reports, engaging with the DPM team and Project Delivery teams.
- Administer and manage portfolio toolsets, processes and templates.
- Create performance dashboards and exception reports across the portfolio, including progress, resourcing, time recording, risks & issues, dependencies and prioritisation.
- Share knowledge and provide support to the DPM team and wider ITS unit.
Team allocation: You will be part of a team of Demand Coordinators, primarily allocated to a specific function within the DPM Team (Demand Management, Finance, Resource Management, Governance, Technical Administration), while developing working knowledge across all functions.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent organization, and the ability to coordinate work for others. Ideally, you will have:
- 3+ years experience in a project management office coordinator role or business support role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to own challenges and escalate issues with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills (fluent in English) and ability to build relationships and communicate effectively in writing, speaking and through visualisations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage timelines, coordinating activities from dependent resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Understanding of standard financial management principles related to projects and ability to support financial reporting.
- Understanding of resource and capacity management principles with the ability to identify resource constraints and gaps.
