Department Description
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is the central risk management function for Atradius. ERM provides information, tools, and advisory services that support risk‑based decision‑making across the organisation. ERM comprises Corporate Risk Management and the Outward Reinsurance (ORe) unit. ORe is responsible for placing the Group’s outward reinsurance programme, managing treaty accounts, preparing reinsurer reporting, overseeing commutations, and supporting facultative reinsurance solutions.
Job Description
We are seeking a Captive Manager to strengthen our Outward Reinsurance Governance & Support team. The role covers governance, structuring, administration, and performance oversight of Atradius captive and to some extent also fronting arrangements. In this position your key responsibilities will be:
- Administer and oversee captive and respective fronting arrangements.
- Coordinate internal processes with Commercial, Risk Services, Legal & Compliance, Finance & Tax.
- Support structuring, renewal, and maintenance of captive programmes.
- Review treaty structures, performance metrics, risk retention, and profitability.
- Oversee technical accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
- Act as subject‑matter contact for stakeholders.
- Represent ERM and contribute to governance improvements.
Qualifications Needed
Required
- Experience in Credit Insurance, Surety, Reinsurance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work within and improving governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred
- Experience with captive structures or alternative risk transfer.
- Familiarity with treaty wording and reinsurance accounting.
