We are currently recruiting for multiple Environmental Service Technicians to join our team's based in and around Sunderland.

Key duties the individual will carry out

  • Carrying out street cleansing duties, including emptying litter and dog bins and clearing litter, waste and fly-tipping.
  • Undertaking grounds maintenance tasks such as strimming, pedestrian grass cutting, pruning and planting.
  • Completing routine, structured operational work using basic tools and equipment under general supervision.
  • Working as part of a team or independently to a set routine, meeting standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Following health and safety requirements and adapting to local site circumstances
  • Carrying out pre-use equipment checks and reporting or rectifying any faults found in tools or equipment.
