Supported the ATP Communications department in protecting and enhancing the reputation of the ATP Tour. This junior‑level role combines strategic work with day‑to‑day deliverables and offers high potential for growth and exposure.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage all media monitoring including coverage reports for major announcements.
- Coordinate the department’s reporting and project tracking; develop and manage a dashboard of key performance data.
- Draft communications including press releases, letters, memos, business updates and corporate social media posts on behalf of the ATP Tour.
- Support the department on all communications: strategy, calendar, crisis comms.
- Collaborate on corporate content creation and exploration of new formats.
- Independently lead projects supporting other ATP departments with their communications needs.
- Lead on industry awards applications.
- Co‑manage the ATP Tour’s LinkedIn page and corporate sections of ATPTour.com.
- Create and distribute internal Media Clippings.
- Support development of ATP’s annual Media Guide.
- Support ATP Serves communications, including content creation and coordination.
Qualifications & Skills
- Established experience within Communications or PR work (in‑house or agency).
- Self‑starter: proactive, anticipates needs and can independently get the job done.
- Organised: exceptional organisational skills, able to handle multiple concurrent workstreams, prioritise, deal with feedback and stay calm under pressure.
- Copywriting: strong and versatile copywriting skills with flawless grammar and articulation.
- Creative: imagination, sharp eye for detail, curiosity for innovation, including emerging tools like AI.
- Tapped in: finger on the pulse of global events and news, plus tennis and wider sports landscape.
- Collaborative: able to work successfully across departments and in cross‑functional teams.
- Flexible to a dynamic work landscape and schedule.
- Discreet: able to manage confidential information and build trust with management.
